About Renata
It has been a year since I started teaching via Zoom. I have students from Basic to Advanced. I use digital books from the National Geographic collection: Life and Keynote. In addition to using digital books, the virtual room allows us to access and share various internet resources during the class, such as podcasts, youtube, and online exercises. In the first class, I try to understand how the student learns and establish goals. Later, together. we decide if the course will be general or focused on some grammar, conversation, public speaking, business, etc.

I started to study English when I was 11 years old, and when I concluded the course I became a teacher at the school I was studying. I got accepted at the University of São Paulo in 2006, and since then I have reconciled teaching English with research in art history. I taught in different language schools like CCAA and Wise Up. I am currently linked to Language Quest. I moved to New York to enroll in a master's program in 2016. During my masters, I started to work with translations from Portuguese to English and edit texts and essays in English.
