About English
I have a BA in English from Washington State University. I have also come across hundreds of children over my work experience of 7 years. As a teacher, I put in immense effort in teaching my students. I have been working full time for the British International School Istanbul since September 2016 to January 2021.. This has given me a chance to interact with young people, and understand their psyche. In addition to working with the British International School Istanbul, I’ve also taught at Whales English, as a part time online English Teacher for over 4 years. In addition to that, I have also worked with Capital Institute Bahrain in 2014, teaching ESL part-time. In January 2015, I started working with Kanoo International School Bahrain, again teaching ESL to middle-schoolers till July 2016. I believe that instead of being viewed as a figure of authority, a teacher should build her relationship on trust, and affection with her students.
