About Tammy
A TESOL-certified teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. Whether in a corporate environment, a community centre, a hotel or a private home, all lessons are adapted to the students’ specific needs. Experienced using meeting platforms: Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and Skype. Wrote and recorded an English-learning podcast. A well-rounded professional background, including years in television production, as well as community service, allows me to easily relate to my students and whatever their particular requirements might be. I’ve taught brain surgeons to circus performers to CEO’s to wait staff and even a few kids. I take pride in helping my students to build confidence and in my high level of retention.

I believe in a mix of methods but most importantly in the communicative one. Think about how you learned your native language. You didn't start by learning grammar points did you?
Don't worry, we'll work on grammar but we'll do it in an organic way. My students often say they are surprised by how much they have improved with me.
