About Imogen
Hi,
I'm Immie, I'm 28 years old and I am a qualified teacher from Portsmouth, Hampshire. I have always had a passion for teaching, starting from 'teaching' my younger siblings in our make believe classroom, to volunteering, training and working in schools as an adult. I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2016 after studying a Bachelors degree in Primary Education. I spent a year out, before embarking on my first 'proper' teaching role in a local primary school. I have been working there since, working across Key Stages 1 and 2, and alongside children aged 5 to 11 years. I absolutely love my job and I would love to be able to help other children that might need that little bit of help to achieve their goals.

The best teacher my son ever had!! He hated books and reading, but within a few months of being in miss Tinsleys class he was reading books and hid spellings cane along so great usually getting the highest score in spelling tests.
Lovely friendly teacher who actually cares and loves the children !Imogen has been great at encouraging my little girl to develop her reading skills. She has worked closely with my daughter to develop her phonics knowledge, before moving on to reading skills. My daughter is now able to read books with confidence, fluency and the ability to blend any unfamiliar words.
