About Amani

I’m very calm and open-minded, and genuinely curious about people and the way they communicate. I speak many languages and have always been interested in how language connects people and how much confidence can change the way someone carries themselves.

Outside of Tutoring I play baseball and perform ballet.

People usually find me easy to talk to because I’m patient and I don’t judge, especially when someone is trying something new or out of their comfort zone. I think that’s a big part of who I am — I like making people feel comfortable and supported.

I’m also someone who really values growth, both in myself and in others, which is a big part of why I’ve chosen to start teaching.

About the lesson

Hi I’m Amani. I’ve always been interested in language and communication, especially how much confidence can change the way someone expresses themselves. I know that learning a language isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary — it’s about actually feeling comfortable using it in real conversations and that it can often be very tricky.

I don’t believe in pressure or “perfect English”, and so I make the lessons tailored to you and your strengths and weaknesses. I want to focus on helping you speak more naturally at your own pace. Whether you want to improve everyday conversation, pronunciation, or just feel less nervous speaking, I’ll adapt to what you need.

I like keeping lessons practical and real-life based, so we’ll focus on speaking as much as possible, building confidence as we go, and making mistakes feel like part of the process (because they are).
