About Isabella

Hiya! My names Izzy I’m a 19 year old medical student. I am dedicated committed and understanding and want to help students succeed! I achieved all A *’s at GCSE and have 3 offers to study medicine. I apply the same hardworking approach to my school work as I do to helping others. This is most clear in my previous experience tutoring 3 students in year 11 where I helped to improve their grades and confidence significantly. My young age means I understand what kids feel like today and completely relate to how frustrating it can be to not understand a topic or subject - this makes me even more enthused to help and gives me better understanding of how to do so.

About the lesson

School for me has been an incredible part of my life. I have such a love for learning things and genuinely enjoy it. However my experience at school hasn’t been picture perfect, there are certain subjects that I have struggled with significantly! I know what it feels like to sit in a classroom and just not get it - it’s horrible. I also know how much I would have benefited from having an older student who could help walk me through topics or subjects I found hard at my own pace. This is what I want to provide you with! I also want to try to make sessions as cheap as possible to make them accessible to as many people as possible. In terms of the structure of lessons I can provide pre planned activities and resources to work from, I have an abundance of notes, posters and questions from my own studies. I completely understand that all students are different and learn in different ways so I can cater for these individual needs!!
