About Josh

I have a background in theater, English Literature and Education. My credentials include a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Lethbridge, TESOL Certification and Professional Instructors Diploma from Vancouver Community College.

In my free time I love reading, acting in plays, walking, watching films, playing video games and spending time with my beautiful family.

I'm truly passionate about teaching and I promise that I will do everything I can to make sure you reach your language goals!

About the lesson

I offer fun, interactive lessons that are focused on your specific needs and areas of development. I believe in "Teaching the student, not the class" and will work with you to develop a plan to help you achieve your English goals, be they better fluency, a resume that will catch employer's eyes or helping you achieve the IELTS band you need.

I'm friendly and specialize in creating relaxed, low stress lesson environments where students can feel free to express themselves, learn from their mistakes and ask any questions they have. I have over 20 years of experience teaching students of all levels from over 20 different countries in Asia, Europe and South and Central America. I've been told that I speak in a clear, easy to understand voice and I respect all cultures and backgrounds. Finally, I have access to a large amount of resources to make sure you can always get the support and practice you need. Let me help you!
