About Karina
"Science is best learned by asking why rather than relying on simple memorization. I teach Chemistry using clear reasoning because I believe that understanding the mechanics is essential for success.
My degree from UC Berkeley provides the framework I use to explain physical and inorganic chemistry to my students. I have spent 13 years refining these methods to ensure my students grasp stoichiometry and organic chemistry effectively. My teaching character is defined by a supportive and thoughtful approach to every concept we cover.
I focus on making the material accessible for intermediate and advanced learners preparing for major board exams. Helping my 493 students navigate difficult topics is a task I find deeply satisfying. Outside of my work, I find great joy in continuing my own study of the physical world."
