About Colette
I am a freelance communications tutor offering English lessons to individuals who want to take the next step in their English language journey. I have experience teaching all age groups and across the education and business sectors, internationally. I can help beginners and more advanced speakers to improve their speaking skills and to achieve good scores in examinations such as IELTS, GMAT and PTE.
I have been working in language training for the last 10 years and prior to that in the marketing and communications sector. I am a graduate of Law, an experienced business consultant and a certified ESL tutor, with extensive experience delivering tailored English language classes on a group and one-to-one basis.

I currently teach students ranging from school age through to graduates and professional looking to advance in their workplace. I like to meet with students for an initial consultation to assess the best way to deliver tailored lessons that will help to achieve goal(s). I use a number of styles in a lesson to include free talking on specific topics, vocabulary building, improving grammatical structure and more specific exercises related to exams such as IELTS, PTE and GMAT.

Lesson Costs:
Please note that I deliver all lessons online via Skype or Zoom. I price my lessons according to the material covered and the preparation time. ESOL and general English lessons are available for £18.00 per hour. More specialised lessons such as IELTS, PTE and GMAT are available for £22.00 per hour.
