About Jonathan
Teaching chemistry has allowed me to work with students who have different learning styles and academic goals. I enjoy creating lessons that simplify complex ideas and encourage students to think logically instead of relying only on memorization.
With a Master's Degree and 12 years of teaching experience, I have supported high school and college students in improving classroom performance, preparing for examinations, and strengthening their understanding of chemistry. I believe consistent guidance and regular practice lead to long-term success.
Watching students gain confidence and solve challenging problems independently is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

My chemistry classes focus on building a strong understanding of concepts through discussion, examples, and regular practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn how different chemistry topics connect, making it easier to remember and apply them in exams.
Lessons include atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding, organic and inorganic chemistry, stoichiometry, acids and bases, equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, kinetics, laboratory techniques, and quantitative problem solving. We also work on past papers, revision exercises, and exam strategies to improve confidence and accuracy.
I monitor progress throughout the course by providing constructive feedback, personalized study plans, and additional practice where needed. My goal is to help every student develop strong analytical skills and succeed in chemistry with confidence.
