About Misha
Kia ora! I’m an NZ-trained and registered secondary teacher with 3+ years of experience, currently working at a high school here in Christchurch. I specialise in English Literature and Media Studies, and I love helping students make sense of everything from classic texts and film analysis to modern media.
My goal is simple: to make the material practical, relevant, and easy to digest so learning happens easily and quickly.

High school assessments can feel overwhelming and leave students not knowing where to start. I am experienced and understanding when it comes to breaking down a film or novel, structuring an essay, or prepping for the NCEA Common Assessment Activities (CAAs).
I tailor every session to what they need that week. I offer a calm, encouraging space where students can ask questions, build their writing confidence, and learn practical strategies to hit their credit goals—without the pressure of a full classroom.
