About Stephen

I want to see you thrive!

I teach because I believe language is more than just a tool for communication — it is a way to connect with others, explore new perspectives, and express yourself with confidence.

I enjoy creating encouraging learning environments where students feel motivated, supported, and excited to improve.

With a plethora of experience across the English language and in the creative industries, I am confident in my ability to deliver.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn a language is through confidence, curiosity, and meaningful communication.

My approach focuses on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves, making mistakes, and developing their skills naturally.

Whether the focus is on improving conversation, pronunciation, grammar, academic writing, or exam preparation, I aim to make every lesson practical, engaging, and relevant to real-world English use.

My goal is to make English feel less like a subject to study and more like a skill to enjoy and use.

Stephen was great with our son during his highers.

He was thorough in his explanations, understanding and worked at just the right pace for my son.

We did a block of 10 hours and were really happy with the price considering the quality of teaching.

Would happily recommend Stephen to others!
