About Shana
Hi, I’m Shana! I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Molecular Medicine, and I currently work as a Sleep Scientist and Respiratory Technician. My academic and professional background has developed my strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
I have tutoring experience in both Math and English through private tutoring, Kumon and my current tutoring role. I have worked with students at different levels and enjoy adapting my approach to suit each student's individual learning style and needs.
I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident in subjects they may find challenging. I take a patient and encouraging approach, creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.
I enjoy seeing students make progress and develop greater confidence in their abilities. I look forward to supporting each student in reaching their academic goals.

I offer personalized one-on-one English tutoring for students in Years 2–10. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual learning needs, school curriculum and areas for improvement. I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and comprehension through clear explanations and guided practice.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and may include schoolwork and homework support, reading and comprehension activities, writing practice, grammar, revision and assessment preparation. I prepare lessons and resources based on each student's needs and aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.
My goal is to help students not only improve their English skills, but also become more confident and independent learners.
