About Bradley
Hello, my name is Bradley Choi, and I am a private math tutor. I grew up in the United States and attended middle school, high school, and university there. My academic record includes: • SAT 1520/1600, SAT Math Level 2C 800 • TOEFL 118/120 • AP English, AP Calculus BC, AP Physics, and several other AP courses. I am currently majoring in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I have extensive experience teaching international school students in math and AP courses. I have also worked at academies as a native English-speaking instructor. For example, I helped a Precalculus student raise their GPA from the 70s to a final grade of 95. I also guided students in AP Calculus and AP Physics, improving their scores from the low 3s to solid 5s. Many parents have been satisfied with the results and have recommended me to other families. I strive to explain concepts in a detailed and clear way so that students can truly understand, while also teaching in a friendly and approachable manner—like an older brother figure who can guide them step by step.

My lessons are based on the following curriculum, which may vary depending on each student’s needs. I provide detailed explanations of concepts until the student fully understands.
For AP classes, I use official College Board practice problems as well as Princeton Review or Barron’s textbooks (provided as PDFs). Lessons focus on both textbook material and real exam-style practice.
For middle and high school classes, I customize the curriculum based on the student’s current textbooks and learning goals. At the end of each lesson, I provide parents with regular feedback—either after every class or weekly—covering progress, performance, and homework updates.
Lesson Structure:
• Reviewing and strengthening fundamental concepts (with homework and regular quizzes/tests)
• Encouraging independent problem-solving skills
• Improving overall problem-solving ability and logical reasoning
