About Pretty

With an academic journey that spans Europe to Australia, I bring a global perspective and a strong foundation in science education. I completed my Master’s in Engineering in Europe and had the enriching experience of volunteering as a science teacher in Poland for a month. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Marine Biology in Australia. Over the past three years, I have taught students aged 12 to 16, as well as university-level beginners in Biology. My teaching style is professional, adaptable, and student-focused — built on patience, encouragement, and clarity. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and truly understand the subject matter. Whether online or in person, my goal is to help each student reach their full potential through personalized, engaging, and effective lessons.

About the lesson

I am a PhD student in Marine Biology (Australia) with a Master’s in Engineering (Budapest), offering personalised tutoring in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I have 3 years of experience teaching students aged 12 to 16, as well as university students in introductory Biology. My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, using real-life examples, visual aids, and problem-solving strategies to simplify complex topics. Sessions typically run for 60 minutes and are interactive, supportive, and focused on individual goals. Whether you're a high school student or a beginner looking to build a strong foundation, I offer flexible, engaging lessons — online or in Lismore — that adapt to your personal learning needs.
