About Emma
Hi there! I’m Emmanuel, an enthusiastic and deeply supportive tutor who is passionate about helping you succeed in maths and science. Whether you are trying to wrap your head around tough topics or aiming for top marks, I am here to guide you every step of the way. I hold a BSc, MSc, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), and over 10 years of experience, which means I know my subjects inside out and exactly how to teach them.
Because I also hold a diploma in pastoral care, and a Level 3 diploma qualification in Lead Health and Social Care, I specialise in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). I pride myself on creating a patient, completely judgement-free space where you can learn at your own pace. I can confidently help you master your subjects in line with the official curriculum for: GCSEs (Maths, Natural Sciences, and Core Sciences), A-Levels (Advanced Sciences and Mathematics), and Functional Skills (Practical maths and everyday arithmetic).
Why I Teach: I teach because I love that "lightbulb moment"—the exact second a confusing concept suddenly clicks and makes perfect sense! I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to break down intimidating topics into simple, bite-sized steps, build your long-term confidence, and prove that you are fully capable of achieving your goals.
