About Onice

I am a dedicated and professional educator with years of experience supporting student growth in both classroom and tutoring settings. As a current Substitute Teacher for LBUSD and former Child Development Program Director, I bring strong instructional skills, reliability, and a commitment to student success. My background working with K–8 students allows me to create structured, engaging, and supportive learning environments where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, supportive, and tailored to individual learning styles. I use clear modeling, guided practice, and interactive strategies to build understanding. I incorporate repetition, real-world connections, and positive reinforcement to help students stay engaged, confident, and successful in mastering key academic skills.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a review of prior material to check understanding and address gaps. I then introduce or reinforce concepts with clear explanations and examples, followed by guided and independent practice. Sessions end with feedback, a quick assessment, and goal-setting to ensure consistent academic progress.
