Learning the technical skills in these trainings has prepared my body and mind to achieve and be successful on the court in games. These technical skills are allowing my body to perform and execute during the game. These sessions have given me the confidence, trust and learning objectives to master my shot, dribbling and problem solve when I am struggling in a game.

This is my son's third basketball club, and we're thrilled with Coach Derek's and APEX. He, and his team actually coach the players during practices, instead of just running drills and allowing players to repeat bad habits without correction. Coach Derek continually stops drills and workouts to correct and improve each player's skill sets. This is qualitatively different than our experience with our first two clubs. Our son is a much better basketball player and teammate in a mere six months, as opposed to the previous four years in other clubs. We liked those clubs, but Apex is simply better at developing basketball players.

Without hesitation I can say that Apex Athletix is the best basketball program in Tucson! Although there is a host of reasons why, I will hit a few of the main things my family love about this program. 1) Detailed coaching, offense and defense; 2) Apex teach players to fit into any basketball systems, as evidenced by players success at any high school and college level, which allows them to make excel wherever they go, such as tournaments, showcases, and as they are trying to play at the next level; 3) staff dedication evidenced by schedules so that players can attend practices and individual and group training; and getting them in front of college players 4) advanced skills technique, utilizing mats, weighted balls, cones, shooting machines, repetition, etc; 5) combined years of experiences of all the coaches, including playing at college level; 6) pursuit of excellence for players to be the best they can be, not just as players on the court, but confidence to become the very best young men and women they can be. I love this club!
