About Asma

I have been teaching Art and design over 15 years. I teach students how to see and apply techniques that would make their art work stand out and have an individuality.

I also incorporate Art History as part of the lessons

I am comfortable teaching online or onsite. I have Master of Fine Art and Bacholar of Art in fine art and graphic design.

I love to see the student's growth. The first painting can be used as a measuring scale to show how much the student has learned and how much more there is to learn.

I practice Art as a profession and it is always a joy to paint or teach how to paint, draw, sculpt or design.

I have:

MFA - painting (Academy of Art University, SF)

Post Graduate degree - Learning and Teaching (University of Roehampton, UK)

BA - Graphic Design /Illustration / Fine Art (University of Queens, NY)

About the lesson

I start with asking questions relating what they are desiring to learn. I also do a quick assessment to see where we can start.

Talking with students is very important to me. I can do a good job teaching if I am well aquainted with my students.
