About Dr Pamela

My personal teaching pedagogy consists of student centered learning in a constructivism environment. I appreciate the constructivism environment as I believe in meeting the students where they are to collectively build the foundation for learning. I subscribe to student centered learning because taking into consideration what the student currently knows and how they best learn will perpetuate better outcomes. I practice structured classroom management that embraces diversity, individual learning styles, and creates a safe space for all students to discuss, debate, and develop.

I am an avid supporter of the use of technology in the classroom. I have classroom teaching experience and online teaching experience. I appreciate how the use of technology permits the teaching and development of students in different parts of the world. I engage the use of social media, electronic communications, online video chat, and other technological resources to teach, applying my traditional pedagogy.

I practice astute planning to ensure consistent learning progress. The establishment of clear, measurable, and achievable goals is paramount. I consistently assess my students to check and ensure progress. My ultimate goal is to develop all students and position them to achieve their learning goals while preparing them to successfully navigate the rest of their academic and professional careers.
