About Khadijah

Professional and qualified teacher with over 9 years experience teaching students from ages 3 - 18.

My experience was widen when the opportunity to do freelance editing for students completing their Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree was taken.

Bachelor's Degree in Literaters, English and a Distinction in Diploma in Education

I started teaching at the age of 17. I was inspired by both my parents who are currently retired teachers. I left my job for 5 years for a better opportunity at the time but eventually left that job to continue my career as a teacher.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree, Literatures in English and a distinction in Diploma in Education. I have successfully completed numerous professional development courses as well.

About the lesson

First, an introduction of myself to student and student to me must be done before we can proceed. Questions about their name, age, likes and dislikes, favourite food or game etc. will be asked as a form of getting to know them.

Secondly, I will be able to assess the level of their english language based on the conversation.

Lastly, if they are shy, I will try to play an icebreaker game or two to get the to be more open and ready for the lesson.

I have worked with a various studies. Some with behavioural issues and some without. I always treat each student as they are to be treated, with respect and care. The students I have worked with all surprised me in some way but I strongly believe that each of them has gained a vast amount of knowledge before they left my class.

My cat Renee gave birth to her kittens and watching the way she takes care of them, warms my heart each and every time I watch her.
