About Amelya
I am a highschool graduate wanting to help out kids who struggle with speaking/ writing! I did a lot of editing and writing help as a teachers assistant in high school and I'd love to help out your child! I've always loved writing and opening up the creativity that I know everyone has!
I love putting smiles on people's faces and seeing how every single child's creativity flows in different ways! I want kids to be able to find their voice in their work and be proud of what they write!
I helped assist my English teacher in high school.
I was an English teacher's assistant for 2 years in high school and helped with grading and proofreading classes below as well as above my own.

Typically, I will introduce myself, explain what I do and ask my students a couple of question. To get to know them and their learning process as well as their struggles.
Students who struggled behaviorally as well as those who just didn't have the motivation to get started. Also students who were easily frustrated with work they didn't like or understand.
Look for a teacher who beat fits your needs and interests, someone who you are able to openly communicate with and feel comfortable to talk to about your frustrations!
I recently had gone to my cousin's house and babysat her new born baby for a couple of hours to let her mother rest as she is a single mother and very busy!
