About Liz

Hey there! My name is Liz and I'm a masters student at St Johns University studying English Literature. I have worked as a writing consultant for going on 4 years, both privately and at university (Purdue University and St Johns). I believe that every writer has a unique voice and that is is my job to help them find it. To me, writing consulting is a collaborative effort to help writers become more confident in their abilities and to give them the tools needed to succeed. I cannot wait to get to know you and be a part of your journey!

I people that every individual has a story, a story I am excited about diving into. I love connecting with people and giving them the tools they need to succeed. The best part about being a consultant is that I will get to know you on a personal level and help your voice be heard!

About the lesson

The process is super simple. If it is your first time, I'll spend the first ten minutes or so getting to know you. Then we'll hop right into your writing. We'll read your work out loud and go over both high order and low order conerns. It'll be very discussion based, as I want to make sure you understand everything and feel confident to do this work on your own as well.

The beauty about writing tutoring is that you can see me once or we can have an ongoing working relationship. However you need help, I can make it happen!
