I typically like to get to know my students as they are inside and outside of the classroom. In addition, I think it is important to discuss what a student feels are their strenghts and weaknesses in order to work to find how to best support the student. From there, allowing for time to review, learn new content, practice, feedback, and discuss ideas is essential to the learning process.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are my strengths as a student?

Where do I find myself struggling the most? Do I know why?

What are my goals as a student?

What can my teachers do to help me the most?
