About Connor

I have been tutoring students in math on and off since 2014 while going through college. I graduated from UVA in 2018 with a dual degree in Cognitive Science and Music and have spent the past year providing free 6th-8th grade math and algebra tutoring in a DC middle school through City Year. I love helping students succeed and providing a method of learning that works to accelerate that success!

I've always enjoyed helping others with math!

I have worked with City Year providing math tutoring for 6th-8th grade math and Algebra in a DC middle school. I have also receieved math education through Calculus 2.

About the lesson

First I sit down and talk with the student and parent to figure out what our goals are and to create a comfortability between me and the student.

Elementary through college aged students along with a few students with learning disabilities.

Find someone you want to and feel comfortable learning from.

I created a math event for Pi day at the middle school I worked at last year!

Took lessons twice a month with him over the past year and he helped me a lot with learning to read sheet music and overall understanding the guitar better. I did not pay for lessons though as he offered to teach me for free in order to gain experience. Really nice and easy to talk to. See you next school year man!
