About Kendall
I have had 4 years of experience tutoring students from grades 6 and up in a wide array of mathematical subjects. I tailor each lesson not only to the academic needs of the student, but I also try to appeal to their human side.
Currently, I am a graudate student in the mathematics department at Iowa State University where I also serve as a teaching assistant so I have no shortage of teaching experience. During my undergraduate years, I served as a tutor through the department as well.
Some would deescribe mathematics as a labor of love. Well, I would like to remove the labor part of thst term. Math can be almost artistic and I revel in seeing my students get to that point. There is truly nothing like working a problem tirelessly and finally hearing that "OHHHH" once we finally make a breakthrough.
I have been working as a math interventionsist for grades 6 all the way to up to undergraduate level for 4 years.
