About Brendan
Hi there! I've been tutoring students on and off for a few years now. In High School, I worked for an after school program where I would assist elementary aged students with homework for an hour each day after school. Since then, many students and friends have asked for my assistance. I always enjoyed Math and found that learning and teaching it came easy to me. In college, i took several accounting classes while pursuing my degree in Business Administration. If you have any questions or would like to work with me, email or text me anytime.
This was a very natural progression. I enjoy training and teaching whether it be other students in a class I'm in, or on the job training. I love seeing the look on a person's face when they understand a concept they've been struggling with for a long time.
I worked in an after-school homework program for two years helping elementary-aged students with homework every day after school. I also was proficient in many Mathematical concepts during high school and college. My ACT composite score was 32, with a Math score of 35.

I first want to get to know the student (their ambitions, hobbies, etc.). This allows me to create content that they can relate to their own life, making it easier to remember concepts. My goal in teaching a student is to get them proficient enough in a concept that they would feel confident enough to teach the concept themselves.
I've worked with Elementary-aged students as well as high school and college-aged students.
Find someone you can relate to! It will be much easier to learn if you can conversate with your teacher!
