About Sven

Patient, quality, fun hands-on tutoring from basic math and arithmatic all the way up to college algebra. The business focuses on making sure a student understands the concept and calculations in order to develop and advance their mathematic comprehension. Being able to relate information being learned to real world situations makes the material more relevant and opens the doors to the many applications it can provide for them. At Easy Math Tutoring the student, their growth and comprehension is our primary concern and objective in working to build a better tomorrow for everyone.

I have alwyas been very passionate and adept at mathematics from a very young age and was always in one to two year advanced math from my grade level, due my comprehensive mathematical abilities and understanding. I tutored underclassmen in my highschool when I was a senior and was able to relate well with the students to try to help them grasp the material and advance their knowledge. I've completed countless mathematics classes from basic math up to calculus while receiving straight A's in every clase aside from a B+ in Calculus with the highest grade in my class. . I graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2016 with my degree in Marketing. I believe mathematics and teaching to be two of my greatest strengths and I would like to use this ability to help others reach their goals.

I also won Best Business Model among all competitors in my 2013 class after doing extensive research for over two months of the local business environment, disposable income, cost of startup, growth in niche markets, real esate market and doing multiple surveys to gauge potential customers interest. This was all compiled in a 30 plus page business plan.

I am well spoken, considerate, flexible, friendly and understanding. I believe that through patience and helping form a strong teacher-student bond students are better able to learn at their pace and eventually grasp the concepts more thoroughly. I look forward to working with you and can't wait to get started.

Being able to help people learn and understand new material that is relavent in so many parts of everyday life going forward. I enjoy seeing the growth and joy from someone who finally gets it and gain onfidence in themselves regarding the subject matter. I am a very analytical person and I pretty much breath math, so being able to help others reach their goals is my greatest joy from this process.

My parents always wanted me to be a teacher so it's a bit of a natural progression. I've helped dozens of people in my math classes to better underand the subjects being learned. My first actual tutoring I did was through Durango High School as a Senior in highschool at the time tutoring Sophmores in Algebra 2.

Get to know them and make them feel comfortable and relaxed. Grasp their initial understanding of the subject matter. Discern what issue they are currently having with a concept or material and proceed from there.



I've worked with all types of ages of students mostly as a peer aiding anyone needing clarification from kindergarten to college level accounting, logistics, marketing, finance, advertising and statistics. I work with any comprehension level of students from new to a subject to nearly mastering said subject. 



Don't look at it like a chore that you are forced to do that is going to be miserable. Come with an open mind and look at this as an oppurtunity to learn and better yourself. Understanding and builinding on some of these concepts will enable you to have a better chance at financial freedom and success going forward. Look at this as an oppurtunity for personal growth and to gain more wisdom and insight into what is to come. 

I would also say don't be afraid to try out a new tutor as you never know if they might be the perfect fit for you.

I charge $1/hr from Basic Math and Arithmetic tutoring all the way up to Algebra 2 tutoring. I charge $20/hr for College Algebra Tutoring.
