About Bob

I am a independent tutor who loves teaching mathematics at all levels. I've tutored and worked in the computer industry all my life. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics and I have an MBA.

I love teaching all ages. I can come to your home or you can come to mine. Parents are welcome to stay and participate (or not) in my tutoring.

Back in the 80s I put up flyers in the high school. Folks would call me when they needed tutoring.

I have tutored students in mathmatics on and off since 1987, including my own children.

About the lesson

Simply bring the book you are working on and we will go through the material until you understand it.

All ages from 6 - 17.

Make sure a math tutor is patient with the student, and is willing to repeat concepts until they are understood. The math tutor should speak slowly and methodically so that the concept is clear and can sink in.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Does the student want to learn and put the effort in to learn. Math involves understanding concepts then practicing problems to solidify the understanding.
