About Jennifer

I love working with kids of all ages! I've taught elementary school, coached teachers K-12, and have worked side by side with principals K-12. I have also presented workshops to administrators and teachers on various topics throughout the years. I taught elementary school for 9 years and I was on the leadership team. I coached teachers & principals for 6 years! I believe education opens up so many opportunities! I know everyone learns differently and at their own pace. I'm willing and ready to create engaging lessons uniquely designed for each student's need. I have my teaching license, a Master's degree in Integrating Arts into Education, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

I love watching and helping people learn and grow! It is an honor and privelage to teach others. I enjoy learning from the people I work with and sharing new ideas. It is also fun to connect people to others they can learn from. Building confidence in others is priceless.

About the lesson

My process for working with a new student varies for each individual based on his/her needs/learning style. It’s important for me to have a conversation with the new student or parent to find out the new student’s likes/dislikes. This way I can plan a lesson that fits his/her needs and we can begin building a relationship right from the start. Trust is crucial for learning to take place! My goal is to have the student working hard and so involved in what they are doing that they don't even realize how much they are learning!

Jennifer is a very upbeat and positive tutor. She built confidence in my child that helped him get excited about the session, his work and accomplishments.
