Whether you're mastering football techniques or building fitness, I combine evidence-based methods from sports science with practical, fun activities to ensure progress and enjoyment. -Techniques and Teaching Methodology Football Coaching: I design dynamic drills focusing on technical skills (dribbling, passing, shooting), tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. Sessions emphasise teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, drawing on my experience as a certified football referee and coach at Bloomsbury Football Academy. Personal Training: I create personalised gym-based programmes rooted in biomechanics and exercise physiology, targeting strength, endurance, and injury prevention. Expect clear demonstrations, progressive overload techniques, and motivational feedback to maximise results. Physical Education: For younger learners, I foster a fun, inclusive environment with games and activities that develop coordination, confidence, and a love for physical activity. I use positive reinforcement and clear instructions to ensure engagement. Multilingual Support: Fluent in English and Italian, with conversational Spanish and French, I can explain concepts in your preferred language, making learning accessible and comfortable. - Typical Lesson Length Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing enough time for warm-ups, skill-building, practice, and feedback. For younger students or intensive training, I can adjust to 45-minute or 90-minute sessions based on your needs and goals. - Qualifications and Experience Education: BSc in Sports and Exercise Science (First-Class Honours, University of Greenwich), covering biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports psychology, and nutrition. Certifications: FA Introduction to Football, First Aid in Football, Safeguarding in Football; Level 2 Certificate in Planning & Delivering Gym-Based Exercise; Level 3 Personal Trainer (PT Academy); DBS checked. Experience: Currently a P.E. Teacher at Hampden Gurney (KS1/KS2) and Football Coach at Bloomsbury Football Academy. Previously a football referee in Italy (A.I.A) and customer-facing roles requiring strong communication and leadership. Research: My dissertation on biomechanical adaptations in endurance runners informs my evidence-based approach to performance and injury prevention. - Who My Lessons Are For My sessions are designed for: Children (ages 5-12): Fun, engaging P.E. lessons or football coaching to build skills and confidence. Teenagers (ages 13-18): Targeted football training or fitness programmes to enhance athletic performance.
