About Destiny

I’m a certified K–12 educator with a BA in Education and a Master of Library and Information Science, bringing over six years of experience helping students strengthen reading, writing, and academic confidence. I’ve taught elementary and middle school, worked as a curriculum designer, and supported learners of all ages through personalized English instruction. My approach blends structure, encouragement, and clear skill‑building so students feel capable, supported, and proud of their progress. I specialize in literacy development, writing organization, reading comprehension, and study skills that help students thrive in school and beyond.

About the lesson

Elementary (K–5)
Hands‑on learning, phonics, reading fluency, writing basics. Writing stamina and writing process.

Middle School (6–8)
Reading comprehension, writing structure, study skills, executive functioning. Writing stamina and writing process.

High School (9–12)
Essay writing, literacy analysis, SAT/ACT prep, study skills, academic confidence.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, goals, and learning style. For elementary learners, I focus on phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary growth, and foundational writing skills through engaging, supportive activities. Middle school students receive structured guidance in reading comprehension, paragraph and essay writing, grammar, and study strategies that build independence. High school students benefit from targeted support in literary analysis, academic writing, research skills, and confidence‑building techniques that strengthen their voice and clarity. Every session is designed to be encouraging, organized, and meaningful, helping students grow steadily and feel proud of their achievements.
