About Trevor
I started my collegiate education at the community college level before transferring to UCSD. While in community college, my anatomy professor noticed how helpful I was to my fellow students and personally requested that I act as her supplemental instructor the following semester.
I've since graduated with my B.S. in Human Biology from UCSD and earned a Masters Degree in Nursing from USD. I am currently a new grad looking to supplement my income to help repay my student loans.
Following my career at the bedside as a nurse, I hope to venture into nursing education as a way to pay forward the mentoring I've received on my educational and career paths. Once I've gained enough experience at the bedside, I hope to return to my alma mater as a clinical or lab instructor. Education has long been a passion of mine, and I am patient, always open to questions, and excited to help you learn.

I have years of experience working as a supplemental anatomy instructor at the community college level, and I take pride in creating personalized lessons to help you succeed based on whatever topic you would like covered. I excel in breaking down complex topics to make them easier to understand, and students that attended my supplemental sessions in the past saw a noticeable increase in their test scores.
Provided I am given notice of what our sessions aim to cover, I will put time into creating a comprehensive lesson plan that is interactive, memorable, and engaging. I like to use mnemonics and real world stories to help my students remember the content of my lessons.
For those on the pathway towards a career in healthcare, I can offer real world applications and stories from my personal experience to help cement my lessons, and I am comfortable tutoring at both high school and collegiate levels of biological science.
