About Claire
I am currently in my final year of studying Physiology at Trinity College Dublin. I have always had a strong enthusiasm for science, particularly biology, hence why I decided to continue studying it at university. I studied maths, biology and French for A level and am keen to share the knowledge that I gained in studying these A levels with others. I have always loved studying languages as I believe they can, not only help us to understand different cultures, but also increase our own understanding of our own language and culture.

I understand that not everyone is best suited to the current examination system, which places a strong emphasis on high pressure examinations and rigid mark schemes. When it comes to my tutoring style, I believe it is important to help students gain a greater understanding of their subject and, hopefully as a result, develop a greater enjoyment towards it also, as when it comes to examinations, this always prevails. My lessons typically last one hour in which I initially try to gauge a students understanding of a topic, and then through the use of videos, presentations and activities, I help to develop their knowledge and understanding. I then focus on past paper questions for the remainder of the lesson.
