About Tamati
I read a lot; I write. I edit my friends and fellow students' work, whether for academic purposes or just for fun. I enjoy learning, and more than that I enjoy seeing other people learn and understand something that was once challenging. I take a dynamic approach and adjust it to the individual to ensure maximum retention and comprehension. I am motivated by following the individual from difficulty to excellence; nurturing and growing their skills until they are expertly honed. I lead with kindness, and an understanding that every person is different.

I am a very kind, compassionate, and understanding professional. I am a Cafe Manager with the average age of my staff being 14-18, so I understand how to explain things in a way that is understandable for that age bracket. I am also incredibly passionate about English studies and have the ability to adjust my style to suit any learner.
Whether you are writing academically, for school, university assignments, a blog, a novel, or just for fun, I enjoy the process of proof-reading, editing, reading the rubric and identifying strengths and areas of improvement, and also the beauty in learning and growing in intellectual capacity.

Details
My hourly rate is inclusive of the understanding that I work two jobs and am studying full time. This will also include any equipment that may be required throughout our time learning, such as pens, notebooks, novels, or suggested readings. My travel rate is simply for my public transport fare and a coffee. I offer a free 30 minutes to gauge whether you/your child would want my services.
