About Andy
I started peer tutoring as a sophomore in high school, before quickly finding a tutoring job and getting paid for it. After the job, I started a non-profit math tutoring service in partnership with the local library, and later began responding to house calls for math help. I've seen lots of improvements not only in my students' grades, but also in their fundamental understanding of the numbers.

I have the most experience in working as a guide to supplement a curricular education. I strongly believe that the approach is the most important part of any academic problem, so I will ask a lot of questions to probe further into the thought process before even beginning a problem. My end goal as a tutor is to foster these fundamental processes and make each student their best independent learner.
