About Leo
Having loved poetry and the English language for as long as I can recall, I have applied its use to my career through a number of different fields. Whilst working as a freelance teacher, I also perform professionally in theatre, run historical tour guides throughout my hometown and work with schools as a poetry speaker. My love of language extends beyond English having lived and worked in France for 2 years engaging with local professionals in both French and English extending their foreign language skills.

I am a published poet and professional performer with a relaxed but informed approach to teaching English and creative writing. I have experience teaching English as a second language and hold a master's degree in Creative Writing from the selective UEA programme. Lessons run from 1 to 1.5 hours and can be catered carefully to the needs of the student, whether that be exam prep, learning English as a foreign student or aspiring writers looking to improve their poetry and prose.
