About SALMORIN,

Hi! I am a first-year Engineering student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Sta. Mesa with a deep passion for mathematics and continuous learning. Having navigated middle school, high school, and rigorous entrance examinations myself very recently, I completely understand the stress and confusion that often come with tackling complex math problems.

My goal as a tutor is not just to help students get through their homework, but to rebuild their self-confidence in math. I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and adaptable, tailoring my teaching style to match each student's unique learning pace. Whether a student is struggling with basic arithmetic concepts, mastering algebra, or starting pre-calculus and calculus, I am dedicated to creating a comfortable and supportive space where they feel safe asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.

My math lessons are tailored specifically for middle school and high school students looking to build a strong foundation, improve their grades, or master difficult topics. I cover a range of subjects including basic arithmetic, algebra, and introduction to pre-calculus and basic calculus.

In my sessions, I focus on breaking down complex mathematical concepts into clear, step-by-step logical steps. Rather than encouraging students to simply memorize formulas, I help them understand the reasoning behind every concept so they can solve problems with real confidence.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of school homework or previous topics to ensure no gaps in understanding remain. Next, I introduce the target concept through clear examples, followed by guided problem-solving where we tackle exercises together. Finally, the student works through practice problems independently while I offer immediate guidance and encouragement.

As a first-year Engineering student at PUP Sta. Mesa, my knowledge of high school math and calculus is fresh, structured, and entrance-exam proven. I offer a patient, non-intimidating learning environment where students can ask any question and learn comfortably at their own pace.
