About Lorraine
My passion for teaching comes from a deep desire to help others grow, learn, and succeed. I believe education is one of the most powerful tools we can use to change our lives and communities. I find joy in explaining new ideas, answering questions, and seeing that "lightbulb moment" when something finally makes sense. Teaching gives me the chance to share knowledge, but it also allows me to keep learning from different perspectives, cultures, and experiences. I enjoy creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged and confident to express themselves, make mistakes, and improve. Most importantly, I care about your progress—not just in class, but in life. My goal is to help you build not only language or subject skills but also confidence and curiosity that lasts beyond the classroom.
