About Sydney
I am formerly a high school speech and theatre teacher who left education to pursue a masters degree in communications.
I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a 4.0 in organizational communications.
During my time as a high school teacher I taught generalized communications, theatre, and speech and debate. I coached students to speech and debate nationals at both the high school and collegiate level.
I am a firm believer that public speaking is a required skill. It is my aim to help you become more confident in your speaking abilities and give you the tools to be a successful public speaker on your own.

The most important thing to know about me as an educator is that I know first hand how scary it can be to publicly speak. Even as a 7 year educator and 10 year speech and debate competitor, I still get nervous. I want us to work together to create an environment that keeps you feeling safe and secure. Once we have created a comfortable space for you the real work can begin.
I can't promise to make you the best public speaker in the world, but I can guarantee improvement and strategies to help you become more successful as a speaker.
