About Rachel
Hi! I’m Rachel – a current medical student at King’s College London, offering high-quality medicine interview preparation for aspiring medics as well as GCSE and A-level teaching.
I’m originally from Harlow and completed both my GCSEs and A-Levels locally - I know how stressful these exams can be, especially as a widening participation student, and how much a bit of extra support can help.
Subjects I tutor: Medical school interview preparation. GCSE science, mathematics and English literature and language. A-levels (enquire).
Experience and qualifications:
- A-Levels: AAB (Biology, chemistry, mathematics), A in computing A/S, A* EPQ
- GCSEs: Five Grade 9s, Four 8s, One 7
- Currently studying Medicine at King’s College London, has a strong interview and teaching skillset
- Current volunteer interviewer and MMI circuit manager for KCL Paediatric Surgery Society
- Familiar with working on and presenting clinical research
- Tutors KCL medics, anatomy, physiology and clinical content
- 5+ years experience as a workflow administrator working for GP

I’d love to help you feel more confident and prepared!
Following the session for medical school interview preparation, I will send detailed notes of what was discussed and PowerPoint resources, as well as tasks to complete outside of the session. I take tutoring incredibly seriously and work hard to ensure a student is staying on track and feels confident by the end of the session.
I also annotate personal statements and provide feedback, integrating this into the teaching I provide students. I am very organised and respond quickly, I am also very efficient at rearranging sessions if the need arises. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions!
