About Tina

Hello! My name is Teacher Tina. I have a Master’s degree in Teaching English (TESOL) and 15 years of experience teaching English to adults. I teach one-on-one classes. This means the lessons are just for you. I make a plan to help you with your goals in speaking, writing, reading, listening, or grammar. In my classes: We practice real conversations. I use games, activities, and technology to make learning fun. I always give you time to speak and ask questions. Mistakes are okay! They help us learn! I can help you get ready for tests, job interviews, school, citizenship, and everyday English. Spanish is my second language. This means I understand how it feels to learn another language. I also love learning about different cultures and trying foods from around the world. Students say I am patient, friendly, and helpful. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and excited to use English in real life.

I make the classroom a place where students feel safe, welcome, and not afraid to make mistakes.

I know students learn in many ways. I change my lessons so all students can understand beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

Feedback
I ask students for feedback. This helps me improve my lessons and understand their needs better.

How I Share My Knowledge

Interactive Lessons
I use technology like Zoom, Google tools, and PowerPoint to make learning fun and interesting.

Real Goals
I prepare students for real tests (TOEFL, IELTS, promotion tests, and tests outside of the classroom). This shows them how their hard work helps in life, school, and jobs.

Encouragement
I give support and motivation so students feel confident, keep trying, and believe they can succeed.

In short: I teach with patience, respect, and creativity. I use different methods so all students can learn, grow, and reach their goals.
