About Leilliane
Currently a music student and having studying tutoring techniques at university, I have a wide range of experience in tutoring. Although I have specific experience tutoring English to high school students, I also have experience as a Personal Trainer, music tutor and maths tutor. This experience has provided me with a great range of engaging tools to draw from to effectively communicate clearly simple topics, to the more complex. Having learnt a second language myself, I also draw from my own experiences to consider the most effective learning strategies.

My teaching philosophy is that learning a new language should be engaging from a variety of different ways, as that is the best way to really remember what you learn. This will include traditional methods of reading, writing and speaking, but will also include music, games and interactive materials to feel more confident using your knew knowledge. The at-home tools that I recommended are useful in re-visiting the content covered in the session and make sure that the knowledge stays long-term!
