About Marissa
Hello, wonderful students! My name is Teacher Marissa. I am a licensed professional teacher and also hold a TEFL certificate, which means that I am specially trained to teach English as a Foreign language to different levels and ages. I am excited about the chance to have regular students because I love seeing my students improve over time. My main goal as a teacher is to help my students feel confident when speaking English. I want to create a fun and safe classroom where students are not afraid to make mistakes. My personal goal is to become an expert in online ESL teaching and improve my communication skills. I want to learn new ways to help students from different backgrounds and levels. I also hope to gain more experience in managing my time well while working from home. Eventually, I want to be known as a teacher who makes a big difference in my students' lives.
