About Joyia
Hi! My name is Ms. Joyia.
I am a 25 year old college graduate who loves to read, paint and play with my pet cat, Shadow. I currently have been teaching students from Kindergarten level through 6th grade for almost 3 years.
I love the feeling of being able to help a child grasp the knowledge and understanding of reading and all that it encompasses.

Since I was young doing Hooked on Phonics and learning how to read at an early age, I’ve had that passion for reading and grammar. In my lessons we will focus on whatever you’re struggling with most and I’ll give you the undivided attention you may not receive in class. I promise to always have patience with you and give you some tips on how I got over my different hurdles with spelling and reading.
My lessons are mainly targeted towards primary grades (older students accepted on special circumstances).
