About Terry

I have a diverse professional and educational background. I have a BS in animal science and an MA in wildlife management. I served in the US Air Force after high school. I speak a second language. I believe these experiences help me address difficult teaching challenges. I have been teaching online classes for international students for the past 3 years. I have actually traveled abroad to meet some of my students. Most of my students are regulars and I have been meeting with some of them for over 2 years. My testimonials and ratings from my students have been 100% positive and between 4.86 and 5.00 for 3 years. I have taught 2259 online students and conducted 11,117 classes for students from 63 different countries. I am dedicated to them and passionate that they are successful. I believe that I can help you reach your goals if you give me an opportunity.

About the lesson

My classes are interesting and interactive. I use various applications and materials to engage the student. I want every class to have a goal and the students should, read, listen, and speak English at every class. A typical class is designed to address a goal and for the student to be successful with reaching that goal. I think my strongest asset for ESL learners is my exposure to other cultures and languages. I have traveled to 24 different countries, and I have worked in some of them before I retired. Therefore, I truly know what feels like to learn and speak other languages. My lessons can be for beginner, intermediate and advanced high school and adult students.
