About Naga

My name is Naga and I am in my second year of my Postgraduate Medical degree at The University of Sheffield studying Medicine and training to be a doctor. I have a previous Bachelor's level degree from the University of Birmingham in Biomedical Science at a 2:1 level. I have had over 6 years of experience tutoring students in all Sciences and Maths and in addition to helping my students improve in their studies, I have had the privilege of watching my students grow in confidence towards academics over the years. I am passionate about tailoring my tutoring style to each of my students' individual needs and I have had much experience doing this working with a variety of different personalities and ages over the years.

About the lesson

As a tutor with over 6 years of experience in Maths and all Sciences, I pride myself on tailoring lessons to meet each student’s specific needs. Having worked with students from Year 7 through to A-Level, I understand that every learner has a unique way of approaching problems and absorbing new information. My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and structured around each student’s goals, whether that’s boosting confidence, improving exam technique, or stretching beyond the curriculum. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, ensuring students not only memorise content but truly understand it. Alongside academic success, I encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning, which are invaluable long-term skills. I am passionate about helping each student unlock their full potential in a positive and motivating environment.
