About Berke

I am a dedicated mathematics educator with a strong background in pure and applied mathematics. I graduated ranked 3rd in my department with a 3.55/4.00 GPA from Istanbul Technical University (Mathematical Engineering) in 2019. I scored 166/170 on the GRE Quantitative section and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Mathematics.
My professional background bridges both academic research and hands-on teaching:
Academic Experience: I served as a Research Assistant at Işık University for one year, where I conducted university lab sessions for programming courses.
Tutoring Experience: Over the past three years, I have taught mathematics at university preparation centers, delivering both structured classroom lectures and personalized 1-on-1 private tutoring.

About the lesson

I prefer explaining topics through examples. When solving a problem, I pause where necessary to explain the relevant part, then continue with the solution.

And I always like to keep my lessons interactive. I constantly ask the student questions, solve a few examples myself first, and then give them practice problems to solve—observing their mistakes along the way to bridge any knowledge gaps.
