About Sezgeen

From an early stage in my academic journey, I have been deeply interested in understanding human behavior and development, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. During my time at MSU, I discovered a passion for working with students through my experience as a substitute teacher. This role allowed me to cultivate patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills while supporting students of various ages and learning styles. After graduating, I continued teaching and further explored ways to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives. This path eventually led me to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), where I worked with children on the autism spectrum. Through this work, I gained valuable insight into behavioral intervention strategies, individualized care, and the importance of creating supportive learning environments that foster growth and independence. After my time in ABA, I continued to pursue my passion for education by tutoring children and students, helping them strengthen their academic skills and build confidence in their learning abilities. These experiences have shaped my dedication to helping children and students reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. They continue to inspire my commitment to professional growth and to making a positive difference in the lives of the students, children, and families I serve.

About the lesson

Students in the past chose me to be their tutor because I create a supportive and personalized learning environment that helps each student reach their full potential. With a background in psychology and experience working with children of different ages and learning styles, I understand how to adapt lessons to fit individual needs. I’m patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping students build both confidence and understanding in their studies. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
