About Ja'Haydon

About Me: Your ELA Teacher

My name is Ja’Haydon, and I believe every student has the ability to succeed. I am a dedicated, hardworking, and passionate teacher who enjoys helping students grow both academically and personally. My goal is to create a classroom where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and encouraged to do their best every day.

As your ELA teacher, I will help you become a stronger reader by teaching reading comprehension in fun, engaging, and meaningful ways. We will read interesting stories, explore different types of texts, ask thoughtful questions, and learn strategies that make reading easier to understand. My lessons are designed to help students think critically, build confidence, and enjoy learning.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I work hard to make sure my classroom is a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. I encourage teamwork, creativity, participation, and respect. I am always willing to support students who need extra help and celebrate the progress of every learner, no matter where they begin.

Teaching is more than a job to me—it’s a chance to inspire young people to believe in themselves and reach their full potential. I strive to be a positive role model by showing kindness, patience, leadership, and dedication every day. My hope is that when students leave my classroom, they will not only be better readers but also more confident, responsible, and motivated individuals.

I look forward to getting to know each of my students and helping them achieve success. Together, we will make learning exciting, build strong reading comprehension skills, and create a classroom where everyone can grow, learn, and thrive.

Choosing the right class can make a big difference in your school year, and my English Language Arts (ELA) class is a place where every student has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
